Staff was friendly and attentive but we felt rushed initially, apps and salads all dropped at once, then main course took 45-50 mins. Romaine was tough and fibrous, dressing not tossed w salad, just globs on plate. Spaghetti Vongole was extremely salty and pasta was undercooked. This was our first time, we will try again but I hope they iron out some of these things.
Our server Nicole was a delight. She made great recommendations and was super attentive. We will be back soon!
We started with appetizers -- beef tartare and buffalo mozzarella with prosciutto. Both were substantial and delicious. We then shared the charcuterie board...which we could not finish. We would order these again in a heartbeat. This was accompanied by a very generous pour of a Paso Robles cab. Dining on the patio was delightful. Staff are very engaging and helpful. We'll be back!
My mom was in town to celebrate my birthday so we decided to check out this new spot in the Bay Park neighborhood. And we couldn't be more impressed. From the start the service was exceptional. Our server Priscilla was so kind and welcoming. She gave excellent recommendations. We shared the Fiori di Zucca and La Pastaia salad to start. The fiori was perfectly crisp and the salad was a great starter. For the main we had the Cacio e Pepe pizza, Fazzoleti pasta, and Salmone. You can tell everything is made in house and the flav... read more
We were frequent diners of the old Farmers Table and decided to try La Pastaia. The food was amazing and the service was world class. Sergio, our server, was very professional and friendly. We bonded immediately. The lamb was prepared perfectly. The calamari with zucchini appetizer was mouth watering. We also enjoyed the newly decorated venue. We are excited to have this gem in our neighborhood.
Every bite was delicious! The ingredients tasted fresh and the meals full of flavor. We had excellent service. I love the newly decorated patio!
This is my second time there, I really want their success- the pizza is very good, their pastas are made there and you can tell. First time we went, over 4th of July they were very busy, service was pathetic. Last Saturday, they were not busy- service was not on par with pricing. I had to ask several times for a second bottle of Peregrino water. The waiter never came back to see if we needed anything after we were served - not all main dishes came at once - it is not cheap so I expect service to be better. I think if they ar... read more
Love the Parmesan wheel!! Made the experience special and delicious
This new restaurant is humming! It feels like it has been there forever. It is decorated in traditional Italian stile. Feels like old world. Pasta is awesome! We have been twice in 2 weeks and haven’t graduated from pasta yet. It is too good. Wine list features some good wines. Desert is the only a bit disappointed part. It is limited to few pastries and they are just ok, not as awesome as appetizers and pasta dishes we tried.
