Disappointed Pros: The staff was great and location is good. Cons: The bedding and its cleaning. Hopefully everything will be better when remodel is completed. Location: Great location for Ranger game. Hotel was under construction. Workers everywhere. Finding parking space was difficult. The room was nice and cool. The bed was lumpy, very uncomfortable. Bottom sheet had pilling and top sheet felt like it hadn't been washed in days. Yuck.
Under construction Room was great. Recently redone. No vent in bathroom so after 4 people the room was hot. Total construction zone downstairs
Six Flags Visit Pros: The Staff and the convenience to Six Flags and the Ball Parks Cons: Breakfast Location: Six Flags, Globe Life Park and AT&T Stadium Really great Staff, AC was not working and we were moved to another room immediately. Hotel is going through remodel so was not very clean and was noisy. I would give an Excellent overall rating however the breakfast was not very good. When I arrived the hotel is under going renovations. The whole first floor was under construction. You had to go around all the mess to get to the elevators. The electricity went off and had to do 5 flights of stairs twice to get my luggage out. I think once the renovations are complete it would be a nice hotel to stay at.
Hotel was undergoing renovations but was open and hospitable. The staff was gracious and very helpful. The updated areas were tasteful, modern and we'll done. Best shower I've had in a hotel in a long time!
We expect a room. We got a hotel ! Pros: the staff was extremely friendly. Saving about $50 in parking fees was pretty sweet, too. Cons: Finish the rennovation. Location: We took the free LaQuinta shuttle to watch the Rangers smoke the A's and walked from the hotel to Six Flags in about five minutes. The LaQuinta is not a name I would historically rate as anything much more than a Motel 8. They must not like that impression, because they are doing a lot to change it. Clean and courteous. Some renovation work but long term that will be good.
Close to Six Flags I had a renovated room which was nice, although every pillow was hard (four pillows and no choice of preference like most hotels), bed was way too soft for my preference (an in between would probably be better to make everyone happier!) and I had very noisy neighbors, but that's no fault of the hotel! Amazing!! The staff is amazing and the room was great. I loved the experience and will definitely come back. Hot breakfast in the morning was a definite plus. I was amazed overall.
