Once settled into the 3rd room, stay was fine. 3 tries to find an acceptable room. 1st room, lacking luggage rack (acceptable), then realized bathroom drain stuck in closed position and toilet handle stuck got in flush position (unacceptable) when flushed. Front desk changed our room, as apparently the hotel maintenance worker was absent that day. 2nd room was missing the table in between beds. Good Too much walking to get to my room. (263) The breakfast atmosphere too gloomy. When you travel you wanna find colorful places. Price is good. Taxes too high. Bed comfortable. Good heat.

Oh no. Surprised to hear this. We just underwent a renovation in our breakfast area with new carpet , new painting. We have our entire Christmas set up , and doesn't get much more colorful than that. We do thank you for staying with us. Taxes are not something we can control, kinda to be expected when staying in New York.

Ok not bad. The rooms on the second floor isn't as cozy as the room on the first floor, maybe because the rooms on the first floor is king rooms an the rooms on the second floor is double beds. My opinion everything should be the same except for the number of beds.
