Surprised at check in. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived. We waited and waited. After 30 minutes, I decided to dress in the ladies' room because we had a New Years party to go to. By then, there was a lady who checked us in. Then, we had to leave the 50.00 deposit in cash. She WOULD NOT take it out of the visa card. Since I didn't have cash, I had to use the ATM machine there, which charged me 3.99 service fee. I have stayed in many LA Quinta hotels, and they never asked to pay deposit in cash. Not the breakfast you hope for It had been a couple years since we stayed. Renovations were made some things were gone such as the vending machines. The breakfast is not like it was before for sure. The eggs tasted like they were reheated egg beaters from the day prior as well as the sausage. The juices are all watered down. The only thing I could stomach was the cereal. The only reason we ever stay here is for their amazing bathtubs.
