Not my favorite Excited to use the pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, it is considerably smaller than in the picture. I'd say it's about half a pool. It was very slippery and not clean. The hot tub has jets, I think, but they bypassed them and it was just a warm tub. When I asked the front desk about the slippery pool and the not so hot tub, she replied " a lot of people fall" and "we get complaints all the time." What a let down La Quinta. Cost to match the altitude I thought that for the price of this hotel it might have something extra to offer. Instead, it was just an average LaQuinta. Even when lower priced competitors have stepped up to hot breakfast, this LaQuinta has only a continental breakfast, plus the ubiquitous make your own waffle. Not even a microwave in the breakfast area to warm up the Danish which have just come from the refrigerator. However, all the hotels in this area are overpriced. Location was good for us. I apologize that the picture of the pool mislead you to believe it was bigger. We are also working on the issue of the pool being slippery, as it was just painted recently. Very Good
I preferred the Best Western Last time I stayed at the Best Western in Castle Rock and I preferred it to La Quinta. The water pressure was better at the Best Western. I also didn't hear as much noise between the rooms at night plus they had a bigger breakfast at the Best Western with eggs and sausage plus more room to eat. I would say both hotels were comparable with the Best Western leading by an edge. Staff was nice. Place was clean. Bed was comfortable.
Clean room, comfortable bed. I was on the kids and pet floor but the rooms were pretty sound. Coffee maker in the room didn't work very well but the free continental breakfast made up for it no problem. Really liked having a crib for the baby and very nice having the cart for the luggage. Little things like that were very good.
Worst La Quinta Inn we have experienced They did not offer hot breakfast. Everything was cold. No serving staff. Very cheap napkin, cup etc. Nothing particular
