When traveling cross-country by car with a dog, its always a bit hit or miss to find a good hotel that is dog friendly and also clean and not a dump. We found this hotel to be modern, clean, and comfortable, and most importantly, dog friendly! :) There is a $25 charge for a pet, but that is to be expected and understood given that they may have to do extra cleaning. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the whole facility and the room itself. We left here and stayed 2 nights at the Embassy Suites. (It was paid for by the conference my wife was attending) I wish we could have just stayed at the La Quinta. The other hotel was much more expensive and no where near the comfort level of the La Quinta…right down to the comfort of the mattress. We stayed here during my daughter’s cheer competition. Location was crazy. It was like a maze trying to get to the parking lot off the interstate. The guy behind the counter was polite and welcoming when we checked in. However, things took at turn when we got to our floor where it smelled terrible. Stayed the weekend of Feb 24, 2024. I know it was a surge but $230/night was just way too much for the experience. It was more like a $120 hotel. Rooms/public spaces older showing their age. I agree with other reviews complain about the Pine-Sol odor in the room filling your senses. But the big problem was the $47 deposit they charged (why?). This place is disgusting!!! The GM is very racist. The staff have no clue what professionalism is and it’s very sad. We kept getting locked out of our room due to the batteries needing to be changed on the doors….They allowed a woman and her dog to sniff the food and when we said something about it they did absolutely nothing. This woman then came back after not being a resident there and allowed her to disrespect and harass my wife and I.
