Ennis,Tx stay was comfortable with coffee maker and fridge in room. Breakfast served 6Ato 9A. Staff courteous and accommodating. Will for our next hotel stay. Also pet friendly.
It's a roof and a bed. Ate breakfast somewhere else, but the motel had nice spread. Dog friendly. Courteous staff. Would recommend.
Our room had an odor of mold/mildew and at 11:30 pm (after being asleep for a couple hours) our smoke detector started beeping every 30 seconds. We were given another room. After packing everything back up, and lugging our belongings once again (in the middle of the night) Room #2 had the same odor. When checking out the next morning, we asked if we were to get a discount for being inconvenienced and the young woman behind the desk said, “No, I’m sorry I can’t do that.” We voiced our disappointment. We came on a Street Outlaws special, booked the room for $103 per night. The Street Outlaws postponed the races because of rain. I called and changed the rooms to Nov 10-11 and that apparently changed the price to $285 per night! Every hotel in the area, including Laquinta Inn by Wyndham had rooms for $77 to $105.; I have no idea why they hammered us for $664 for the 2 nights but we will never stay at another hotel in this chain!
Beds are like sleeping on a rock! First room heater didn’t work and an annoying barking dog next door. Second room someone’s glove left on the bed…weird.
