I was charged a fee to change from 2 beds to one king but not made aware of the fee

Photos online appear very nice (must be stock). Hotel needed vacuuming, front desk person very abrupt. (When she asked me to sign the papers upon arrival, I asked what it was and she said "just sign it" and went on to do something else. Probably would not stay at this particular La Quinta property again.
