The fire alarm get triggered 2 times and we had evacuated the room at 1 am and 10 am on the same day without any problem in the building. The elevator is very old and one of them it was not working when I was leaving. All the carpet should to be changed also.

First of all, for the price they charge for a night's stay if we buy the conditions of the hotel, the truth is that they are stealing from people because they are terrible. The elevator did not work, we had to go up and down the stairs with all our luggage, the room had no comfort, I think the microwave was from the 18th century, the carpet reeked of humidity, and to top off the "breakfast" grab a muffin and go Because they didn't offer anything else. Hotel was outdated with peeling paint and old green/white tile. Location was good-only 20 minutes from cruise port.

Our reservation was switched somehow and we ended up at a different La Quinta than we originally intended to book. The original one that I had even called to confirm they had both an airport shuttle and cruise port shuttle was swapped with a la Quinta that offered neither, leaving us stranded after we got off our flight. We ended up having to take an extremely scary and sketchy $40 taxi from the airport to the hotel our reservation was held.
