I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, I had no significant issues during my stay. The room was clean and met the standard expectations for a hotel room. Its proximity to the beltway made traveling around the city convenient. They offer a complimentary breakfast, and housekeeping services were as expected. From best to worst with just one visit and interaction. I am very familiar with this location as I’ve been staying here for over six years now and this most recent check-in was by far the worst experience I’ve had staying with this specific hotel. For starters, the young lady who took an abnormal amount of time to open the door was clearly sleep, or under some type of other influence she was rude and abrasive. La Quinta with sparkling clean and spacious rooms, and comfortable common/public spaces, too. About a 25 min ride into or out of downtown Houston. Dog friendly and hotel has gated/fenced parking. A couple restaurants within walking distance, but the channel view area doesn't seem very walkable in general...hotel is on a very busy access road next to a somewhat loud TX 8 beltway...something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper, but the rooms are very quiet.

Very nice hotel, pool was not bad. Breakfast in morning was good with lots of choices. Parking lot is secure behind a gate that opens with hotel card. Gazebos outside to enjoy the weather and relax. Staff was there to greet you every time you left and returned. Small store inside for drinks and snacks. Bar open in evening for some food till 9 pm.

Have stayed here a few times. Rooms are nice and clean, but insulation is poor. Can hear highway noise, even if you’re on the far end of the hotel. No Lotion provided in the room !! A couple times they would offer that I go down to reception and pick up one from their shop for free …. But this last time they wanted me to pay for it….. after spending $100+ for the room !! ….
