Decent option in the heart of Manhattan The bed was too soft for me but not uncomfortable. For a few dollars more it is a lot better than the crummy, dingy Pennsylvania hotel on 7th avenue with its rude staff -- even by New York standards -- where we stayed a few months ago. The folks at La Quinta on the other hand were really nice and helpful. The room was small but adequate and the shower was pretty good too.
Very Good Breakfast not as good or substantial as we remember from previous visits. Liked bedside ajustable lamps and plugs ins. Great location.
Some good, some bad Our rooms were not as booked. We had requested two rooms, one smoking and one non-smoking each with two beds. We did not have a smoking room with two beds available to us and the room provided was small and had only one bed Location was good for our purpose. Breakfast was good; seating a small problem
Excellent Train runs on front of hotel so may want to ask for a room off the street. Airport shuttle, newly decorated, free breakfast.
