La Quinta Inn Manhattan, formerly the Best Western Manhattan, is located on a stretch known as Koreatown. The neighborhood is filled with popular Korean restaurants and shops including a Korean restaurant next door that provides 24-hour room service for the hotel. But perhaps the best part about staying at the La Quinta Manhattan is that Macy's and the Empire State Building are just a few blocks away. So, once at this hotel, you will not have a minute to spare!

Tiny room but that's kind of expected. No mini refrigerator or microwave. Busy, noisy tourist area of K-town with lots of Korean BBQ and Karaoke bars. My only complaint is the shower... good water pressure out of the tub but when you turn on the shower head, it's a water saving attachment, it trickles out ... good luck rinsing shampoo out of your hair! I know they're trying to conserve water but it defeats the purpose when it takes TWICE as long to rinse off!
Never got my deposit back. Terrible place with depressing atmosphere and lack of lightning. None of the 2 elevators arrives within 10 minutes of waiting, I doubt the building ever experienced any renovation. If you hope to get a room with the view of empire state building, don't. AC is probably older than the hotel, and you can't open the windows. Beds are awful. The only positive things are location, which is probably the only reason people stay at this horrible place, and room cleaning, which is okay.
Nice hotel in a bustling KoreaTown! Staff was friendly and collaborative. Plenty to do and eat within walking distance. Room on the 3rd floor was a bit noisy, but overall, enjoyed my stay at The Hotel at Fifth Avenue in NYC. Great location for exploring the city!
We got a room to sleep 5 for a very good price for the excellent location which was convenient for literally anything in Manhattan (3 minutes walk to Empire State Building). Our room was at the back of the hotel on 6th floor so we didn't hear any outside noise but the area and the street below was all hustle and bustle. Most staff were really friendly and helpful bar one. Rooms look a little dated but everything worked, bathroom was clean and we had a very comfortable stay. Wi-fi for us was very good, reliable and fast (100+... read more
The hotel was a good location for the activities and access to the sights of New York. The hotel is quite old and the rooms are small in comparison to what you might expect. We booked 2 twin rooms and got 2 doubles. They were great at helping fix the issue (albeit the next day). The staff were really helpful and the maids working on the room cleaning were lovely. It didn't exceed my expectations but didn't let me down. We were staying in the centre of New York at a cheap price. (Although I struggle to understand ... read more
