Hotel old and need renovation but the staffs is excellent

It was OK objectively speaking, but I stayed at a very amazing LaQuinta earlier this year which gave me pretty high expectations. The bathroom doors are weird, and the room I was initially given was incredibly warm because the AC wasn’t working. The taps were not running, but that was fixed in a short while. Their key cards are the old type, so it kept dying. There was no shower gel, just a tiny shampoo bottle and a bar of soap the size of my little finger. But still a decent budget hotel in an overpriced city.

Staff were great. When we arrived our room wasnt clean, but as soon as we notifed front desk staff they apologized and lookked after us right away.
