Everything was great except one thing. Our table felt a bit small and was uneven so we had to deal with the rocking throughout - not great.
Love this place. Love the live music great service They have wonderful food. When I bring friends there, they always love everything about it.
La Stella just keeps getting better and it shows in the increased volume of diners recently. I was told that the previous evening was the best for sales total since opening. It’s a beautiful restaurant, the service is extraordinary, and the cuisine is the best it has ever been. I ate at the bar this evening as the restaurant was otherwise fully committed, and Christian took great care of me. Great food, good service, friendly staff. Pasta was outstanding, branzino was delicious, grilled shrimp and meatballs were good too. Don't forget to try the Nutella cheesecake
From the hostess to the food to the sommelier to the waiter. Everything was top notch!
We celebrated our anniversary at Stella before heading to the theater. We shared the branzino dish along with a side of carrots, which came highly recommended by our server. The fish was absolutely delicious, but the carrots were the real standout — I could have made a meal out of them alone. Simply phenomenal! My wife and I dined here for an anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint, as it was one of the better places I have dined in Dallas. Our attendant was so thorough in his menu explanations that we gladly accepted all his recommendations. The aperitivo, antipasto, primo and secondo courses were perfectly time and each built on the other. I would not consider their recipes old world but traditional with modern interpretations. The restaurant has large street-view windows for people viewing between courses.
Fantastic experience! Everyone was so love and accommodating. The piano player had the best voice I’ve ever heard and the ambiance was incredible, along with the food. Make sure you go!
Pasta portion was appetizer size. Branzino was way too salty.
