We had the house salad, bolognaise, gnocchi, branzino, and osso bucco. I'd skip the gnocchi, which was just fine but not great. The bolognaise and salad were big winners and the osso bucco had great flavor. Our server, Amanda, was wonderful. Attentive, helpful, and pleasant. A pianist, WT, made the evening special.
The food was a consistently-wonderful experience. Moody, our server, was attentive and knowledgable when it came to wine selection. I have dined here twice and not been disappointed. It is my choice for dinner whenever I attend an event at the nearby venues.
Salads are very nice but too large for one person. Pasta was exceptional. Would have liked a couple of extra options. Main course selection was limited but classic. What was EXCEPTIONAL was the service.
Excellent food and the service was great. The waiter helped answer all our questions, we never felt rushed yet we were able to easily make the show at the Opera House. Definitely will consider them again before a show. Bonus tip, valet is actually cheaper than the event parking and great location.
Back in March my husband and I had a terrible experience at La Stella and swore we wouldn't return. The food was so good that we decided to give it another chance and we are really happy we did. This time the service was terrific. Our server, Cassidy, was knowledgeable, friendly, and great at making recommendations. The food, as always, was excellent. Great meal. A little overpriced but this would not have been an issue if they had validated the parking. Went out to find that the parking that had their name on it was extra.
I was hoping for a fantastic Italian meal, and just didn’t get it. I was there on a quiet Tuesday night, which might have something to do with it. We ordered two apps and three pastas. They were fine, but not great, and all very expensive for what we got. Service was fantastic and I want to give it another try on a busy Saturday night (I’ve been for a cocktail on a busy night and the vibe was fantastic and the Italian manager a great guy). Want to love it, but disappointed with my wife’s birthday dinner last night.
Authentic italian and romantic. Great combination for a date night. Wine list complemented the evening well! Everything tastes like it's home made.
Fantastic food and service. Amanda was a pleasant and well informed server. We cannot wait to return!!
