The food was excellent, the service impeccable and a great ambient with the live music
Every time I come here everything is impeccable!! Andrew was our hostess and we were overly accommodated with free drinks and amazing service. Everytime me and my lady come we try totally different things than the last time and we are blown away each time. I highly recommend the seafood risotto and the Fantasma cocktail. We be back soon as always!!

A wonderful evening in a beautiful restaurant. The food is superb quality and the service second to none. Attentive and informed charming staff lead by one of the best restaurant managers Ive met in a long time. I cannot recommend La Stella highly enough
La Stella is the authentic, high quality Italian restaurant DFW has been lacking until now. The menu offers sophisticated dishes like lobster in squid ink pasta and risotto that are several levels above the standard pizza/pasta fare. In the best Italian tradition, the dishes are not fussy, oversauced or overcooked. They bring out the best in fresh, well chosen ingredients. The servers have been consistently helpful and professional and the wine list is extensive with some gems from small growers.
My husband and I had dinner at La Stella downtown, then saw Kimberly Akimbo at the Winspear. La Stella was outstanding: elegant without being pretentious, upscale without being stuffy or intimidating. The service was excellent and the food fantastic. Our server Erin was outstanding and made excellent recommendations. She asked what our timetable was and what time we needed to leave, and made sure that worked out. Look forward to another visit!
Our dinner experience was amazing from start to finish. Paco was so attentive and even brought us a small glass of wine he thought would pair better with the appetizer we chose than the wine we ordered. On him!! So sweet. It was delicious. The food was fabulous- we had the short ribs pasta and the butternut squash ravioli. The atmosphere was lovely- not loud at all, which we often run into. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant! 10/10
We had a wonderful night and would be happy to do again! Great food! Attentive service. Pleasant environment. Live music-not too loud-great, eclectic playlist. A night to remember!
Always a great experience at La Stella. Service by Paco is always great. Lamb chops were delicious. One suggestion for improving: we love the entertainer on Friday nights, he’s excellent. But the volume is too loud.
