Excellent experience (again). The gnocchi here is the best I have ever had. The service is kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. An absolute must if you are seeing events and Winspear, or just a great night in general. One of my favorites in Dallas.
Great place for dinner after a concert. Their ossobuco and veal pasta are my favorites, both are exceptional! The ambience is cozy and perfect for nice conversations.
I went here for my birthday. Our waiter was amazing, super attentive and helpful answering our questions. My food and a friends wasn’t prepared entirely to our likening, but they were able to fix it with ease. Even got a free dessert! Also the live singer was amazing! 🤯 we definitely enjoyed that. Would for sure go back.
Excellent experience. Their calamari, shrimp, and octopus combination is the best we’ve had for appetizers!!
Fantastic team from kitchen to front. Erin took care of us and she was awesome. The shrimp spaghetti and agnolotti were excellent. 10/10
My second experience at La Stella, another business dinner. My guests raved about their selections and our waiter listened to our wine requests and selected an outstanding wine within the price range that I suggested. A little pricey perhaps but overall a wonderful experience. I’ll return with family next!
This is our second experience at La Stella. Personnel is great service was courteous and went the extra mile (we got there at 9:45 this time after a concert at DSO) but food is average Italian and wine is unreasonably expensive and very limited by the glass. Of course the location is great and that has a cost but unless I am late out of the DSO or the opera I would have other choices. Said that the service is great and the assistance of waiters and manager were outstanding (they offered us a desert on the house).
The food was lovely- the waiter described the dishes to a tee. Menu was heavy on truffle in many dishes, so hopefully you enjoy truffles. The appetizer (fried shrimp, calamari and octopus) as some of the best I've ever had. The menu was very diverse with many signature dishes and Ronald, our server really made the evening special.
