We went for our 10th anniversary dinner. Staff was friendly, helpful, professional and made wonderful recommendations. Food was superb! And wine recommendation was on point! Highly recommend. Will be back - excellent all around.

Wow. Place was packed on a Tuesday. Amazing live singer. Great Italian food. And the homemade complimentary limoncello was amazing. We met the owner and they are all from Naples. Didn't have much time to hang out because we had show tickets but will be back for the full experience. Classy place.
La Stella was beautiful and very convenient to the Winspear Opera House where we were headed after dinner. The pace was leisurely, yet got us out in plenty of time to make our show. Service was good - but not super attentive. I had to flag down other folks to get our server/salt and pepper/the check. We ordered the Branzino which was very good and the Veal Chop which was done perfectly but pretty tough. The best thing we ate was the grilled octopus appetizer and it was wonderful.
The food was good but the atmosphere was a little stuffy for my taste. I really enjoyed the young lady who sang and played the piano and it was a nice accompaniment to our meal. Good for a special occasion for two but not the kind of place to relax and enjoy laughs with your friends.

It was the busiest I’ve ever seen this restaurant, and the service was a bit slow. We were a bit rushed at the end to make it to our show at the Winspear. Otherwise everything was really good. I had the octopus for the first time and it was excellent. The agnolotti were excellent as always.
The food was outstanding, however the service was extremely slow from the hostess greeting us to the waiter attending us. It took 15 minutes to get our first cocktail served. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The sommelier was helpful and fun.
The food was delicious and the service was top tier. Our food came out really fast and everything was hot and fresh. 10/10. I do want to try and go on a night when they have a live band, because I’m sure it’s a vibe on those days!
