We've been to La Strada twice. The food and service was good both times. However, the first time, we were in the main room, and it was so noisy we couldn't carry on a conversation. The second time, requested a quiet spot, and got an empty room with blaring music. They said they couldn't turn down the music, but shortly thereafter, the music got softer. However, as the evening went on, the room filled, and when two loud couples got seated next to us, we decided it was time to go.
Always a good choice, I had the meat Ravioli, my wife had the Veal Ossobuco both were outstanding.
The mushroom ravioli was indeed outstanding, melt in your mouth. My veal was also terrific. My husband loved the halibut entree and enjoyed the shrimp wrapped in prosciutto. Our waitress Katlyn was delightful too.
Veal chop was fantastic! Wait staff very attentive.
This is one of the Best Italian Restaurants in Reno. We sat in a quiet corner but the place is so large if you want dining next to the kitchen that is offered as well. The chef came out and told us his story when he arrived from Italy, how long he had been there (many years) and wanted to make sure we liked everything. It a really fun place to celebrate life. Great for a romantic dinner, Great wine selections and overall just a fantastic restaurant.

I thoroughly enjoyed everything about my meal. My food was delish and the service was excellent. They seriously have the best garlic bread!!
La Strada was simply superb. The food was masterful and beautifully prepared. As others have mentioned, the mushroom ravioli is exceptional, but the seafood pasta in white wine sauce was also delicious and loaded with perfectly cooked seafood.
