Food was good as always- super disappointed that the chef’s meal is not an option anymore. Always make this a destination restaurant for that experience and now won’t be coming back as often.

The meatballs in the spaghetti were awful. My veal Parmesan was great it was served wit polenta is that Italian why not spaghetti. We went for our anniversary and it was very disappointing

The mushroom ravioli was fantastic. Other dishes were very good and cooked correctly. Our server, Tony, was professional and very helpful. After not having the wine we desired, he offered an excellent alternative. Top notch!

Our server Chris was great! The bread basket, fried calamari and homemade gelato (espresso) were fantastic. My risotto was a tad or two under cooked but had great flavor and the scallops were perfect. I am stumped though on how you don’t have the ingredient’s to make the cocktails on your menu. Three drink orders later my daughter finally received a drink for her birthday dinner. Chris was very friendly and never skipped a bear.

I made this reservation almost a month before our visit. Booked a room at the El Dorado. (the Large Players Suite). I love this place! So that is why I wanted to have my birthday dinner there. The food was spectacular as usual. But I hated the table. Part of the experience I like is that old dinner house feel. The place was not busy, 630 on a Sunday evening. I have enjoyed La Strada many times in the past (Long ago, like 40 years ago) it was great back then. Now...the food was not what I expected, mediocre at best, and the menu lacking. The place was really noisy, the kitchen is in the dining room (I HATE that, I can eat in the kitchen in any diner in town). The decor was not what I expected, it used to be lovely, now it's gaudy.
