The food was delicious, the waiter was super nice. Would totally recommend to anyone who enjoys Italian food and wine. My favorite is the mushroom ravioli.
First off, it's a delightful place with awesome food. They only two things that kept it from getting 5 stars are- 1) Caesar salad is my go to salad and perhaps I've had it 400-500 times while dining out over 50 years. This is the restaurant that mixes the anchovies into the actual dressing rather than having them on top where you can simply take them off. Seafood linguine was poor. Chicken alfrado my wife had was good according to her.

Great restaurant. I had scallops/risotto and a glass of Pinot Gris. The price was reasonable. The service was prompt and amiable. The noise level was low enough to have normal dinner conversation.
Our waiter was great!!!! Friendly, chill and happy. Oh and he even took our pics. Started out with some Mussels Marinara and Prosciutto Wrapped Prawns, followed by Risotto & Pan Seared Scallops and the signature dish of La Strada Mushroom Ravioli. EXCELLENT !!! And no we did not finish it all but luckily we had a fridge and microwave in our room so had snacks the next day and they were still delicious.
I had tagliatelle wig bolognese sauce. I think this was the best I have had in Reno. My husband had the seafood linguini and really enjoyed. He had a Cabrera salad and I had the tomato basil soup. All in all this was the best meal I have had at La strata.
