I have waited a long time to dine at La Strata and so enjoyed the experience. The veal piccata was wonderful however the pasta I requested with the dish was too al dente... My only complaint. Hoping to come back soon!

La Strada is normally outside my price range (which is quite low!) but to offset this difficult year I treated myself and a dear friend to a special holiday treat for Christmas dinner. For once, I disregarded the prices and we just ordered ala carte as we pleased. In spite of pandemic restrictions, the friendly staff went exceedingly out of their way to normalize the evening, from Michael the host to Tony our server and the rest of the crew. This will be our second trip into Reno for Christmas Dinner, and la Strada will be a new tradition for us. The service, impeccable. The food, amazing. The cost, Surprising. The ambiance, quiet. The evening, perfect. The wife cant speak enough to the mushroom stuffed ravioli. The lasagna was delicious. There was nothing bad about this experience other than I ate way too much.
