Quite possibly the best restaurant in The USA. Fabulous wine list and the Food is out of this world. If you re thinking Of going to another Italian restaurant, I have one piece of advice “foooget about it”
We have eaten at LaStrada many times. On this occasion, the food was excellent as always. The service was top notch. What I noticed this time however was that the cooks were exceptionally noisy; banging pots and pans. It made it very hard to have a conversation. This obnoxious clanking continued through the entire meal. We mentioned it and the server relayed our concerns but the loud banging continued.
We have been going to La Strada for the last 20 years. It never disappoints. Great food and staff.
Best of all, our server that evening, Kimberly, was not only great, she was Fabulous! She did an excellent job of serving us - she also assisted with food comparisons, answered many questions that we had regarding the portion levels and menu choices. She treated us as if we were the only guests dining there that night, however, she had at least 5 tables to handled, and it appeared that she treated them all the same way as well! Colton was our server. Very professional and social. The food and the experience was as always exceptional.
We love La Strada and always book a table whenever we're in Reno. Food is always varied and delicious, service excellent, and ambience nice. We also love the Happy Hour in the Bar -- great value for great wines, and wonderful apps. We always look forward to dinner at this wonderful restaurant!
I never get tired of visiting La Strada. love the food and the people always treat you like royalty. Enjoy every visit. Once I got the wrong "take out" bag and went back the next everning. I was treated to wonderfully and this time I had the correct take home order. The treatment and correction was so pleasant I keep hoping they will make a mistake again . . . but they don't, darn it. haha
The food and service was great. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu, and made some good recommendations. While not busy on a Monday, there was a lot of loud and a bit vulgar talk, coming from a large party in the back room. Overall the food and service was great. I would highly recommend the halibut and the veal piccata.
Food was very good. Most of the portions were large. Felt the shrimp appetizer wrapped in prosciutto was pricey for 4 shrimp. The bread is very good and so was the caesar salad.
