This is our second trip to La Strada and somehow they were able to surpass our last visit. The waiters are amazing, they listen to you and try and deliver the "Perfect Meal".. We had the Mushroom Ravioli appetizer and the only word that I can come up with is AMAZING!! Our waiter Chris was awesome! He suggested the "trust me" selection. Glad we did. It was a sample of many delicious dishes.
Nice wine list. Had a chianti classico. For food, went with the tasting menu, since I couldn't decide between all the nice menu items. A tasty salad, followed by good size helping of three excellent pastas. Then came a course with a wonderful New York steak and monkfish combination, and the meal concluded with a fabulous mango panna cotta. Great flavors, nicely presented. Bring a big appetite cause its a lot of food.
Nice dinner with highs & lows. Nice dining room. Drinks were served quickly. Service attentive. Two of us did the tasting menu. Salad was a wonderful mix & had a tasty blood orange vinegarette dressing. Pasta course was good - shells with meat sauce was our fav, vegetable risotto tasty but was a tad too al dente, mushroom ravioli was meh. You will not be disappointed with their wine, the appetizers, the food preparation quality, or the atmosphere. The wait staff has changed over a little and not quite as outstanding as they used to be, but definitely superior to most. Been going here for years. It is rated as one of the best restaurants in the Nation and they deserve it. However the menu they used to have back circa 2007 before they trimmed it down was tremendously better. I wish they would bring back the old menu!
You have the best food. I took three friends there who had not been there- they absolutely loved it- the food, the service everything.. Always where my late husband and I had our anniversary dinners. Thank you
Everything was excellent. We had the ossobucco veal shank, swordfish, and scallops. For appetizer, we had a brick oven fire roasted pizza. The server was so friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Enjoyed the food and show promotion that the Eldorado offers.
Really great food and excellence service! The mushroom ravioli was the best. Everything was done to perfection. The service was very timely and with a smile. I will dine here in the future on any more trips to the Reno area. it lived up to its rating as one of the 10 best in the USA.
