I am very particular about Italian food to me. It is either excellent or not. There’s no in between for me From the point that we were greeted by the hostess at the podium, to our waiter, food, libations, and desserts were all a perfect 10. we travel all over the country and abroad. This is one of my favorite restaurants and will be in our repertoire during trips to the Reno. Outstanding ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We came with friends to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. Our waiter Christopher was so great right from the time we got there to the time we left. He sang to us to celebrate the occasion and had an amazing voice. My friend and I had the crab and lobster pasta and it was delicious. Husband’s had the veal and said it was excellent. Glad to came to celebrate in the restaurant where he proposed. A memorable evening and experience.

We come here every year, and it always fantastic. The service is great and the food is even better. The dishes are priced similarly to major chain Italian restaurants and you get a far better experience. Would recommend to anyone in the Reno area!

La Strada is our hands down favorite restaurant in Reno. That being said, this time the quality of the dishes was not up to its usual standards. Maybe just an off night. I had veal saltimbocca which I have had frequently in the past. If this were the first time I had ordered it, I would not order it again. Service was slow and also not up to previous standards. I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

We came for dinner before the ABBA show. The evening went well with the exception of the initial checkin. While we were waiting for the young attendant to take us in, the manager (we later found out her name was a Nicole) checked us in rather rudely. We were told to wait “there” with a scowl on her face. I’ve dined at La Strada a few times before. Elijah waited on me this occasion and provided great service without being overbearing. The female manager (don’t recall her name) helped out the hostess with seating as there was a line. That’s a good manager. I had the Veal Saltimbocca. It was tender and flavorful. The spinach was good also. I felt the Caesar salad could be a little bigger for the price but no big deal. Good selection of wine is available.

Great ambience. The lamb was great and perfectly cooked. I ordered the veal saltimbocca and that was not as good. The prosciutto was rubbery and the veal was drowned in sauce, but the veal was tender. The plate lacked the finesse expected from La Strada.
