We started sending our precious baby, M, here when she was 9 months old. She is now 14 months old. We chose LNMC because without exception, the staff are so warm, welcoming and thoroughly trained in authentic Montessori education. (Any school can use the Montessori name, so just because a school says they are "Montessori" does not mean they implement it correctly or to a quality standard.) if you want the true Montessori experience, you will definitely want to tour this school. I couldn't be happier with our decision to send our daughter here. From day one, this school has felt like an extension of our home. The teachers are incredibly loving and patient, giving the perfect balance of structure and routine while still making the environment feel warm and nurturing. After 9 months at this school, we could not be happier and neither could our almost 3 year old. She loves going to school where she is both nurtured and allowed/taught independence. The teachers are loving and kind all while maintaining order in the classroom. Montessori preschool is a class of mixed ages and yes, there may be a few cons to that, but overall the pros have greatly outweighed them. I have found the children to be well mannered and kind. So happy here.

This review was long long long overdue - 5 years to be precise. Our beautiful journey with Laguna Niguel Montessori Center started when my older son was only 3 years old - back in 2016. It's now coming to an end with our younger son graduating from LNMC pre-school, 5 years later. LNMC is the perfect example of what a Montessori should be like. My daughter has been going for 9 months and all I can say is by far the best preschool/ daycare. They really take the time to teach the kids and interact with them, I love this school I wouldn't take her out for any reason! My daughter has learned so much and is always excited to go.
