This is my first experience in a inpatient setting and I am from out of state. Upon coming here I knew nothing about the facility or the area so I was very nervous. But I will say this has by far been the best experience. The staff here is very sweet and tailor to your needs the best they can. From the nurses, to the case managers, the kitchen staff and, the events coordinator. Everyone here is so friendly. Groups are amazing and very informative and the nightly events are so much fun!!! This place is impressive in every aspect! Quality counseling, information, accommodations, staff. A comprehensive treatment program!
Overall, I am pleased with this facility. However, theres a handful of nurses that shouldn’t be working with this population of people or needs to be trained immediately!!! I am still calming down over 4 staff members calling me a thief and racist among other things. (I do not feel safe on the second floor after that experience.) it triggered extreme PTSD. Good therapists. Good accommodations Excellent activity director. Deborah engages us in evening activities. Very Kind to us. Great person and true professional. Treatment advocates Jeff, Elvita, Rob, Kylie, and Leo are amazing and the truly care. Nurses Susan, and Olga are compassionate and caring. Case Managers Gene and Gilbert and Ken are are also caring and excellent instructors. Receptionist Romero is rude and socially ignorant in how he speaks and how he deals with clients. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first arrived as I had never been to a treatment center before. From the moment I walked in the staff was very courteous and kind to me. I was very impressed with their compassion as another patient came in at the same time as me who was in pretty bad shape, and they handled it very well. The counselors who lead the group are very well trained and combine that with their past experience with addiction and bring it current with their current status in recovery. All of the staff has been excellent and helpful. The food has been great and amenities and activities are above and beyond.
