I have been a client for 20yrs. I love Nicole and Dr Poquiz is a very kind Doctor.
Very professional yet personable. Explains all medication uses and speaks clearly on any problems you may have. If I still lived in the area, Dr. Poquiz would be my first choice.
She listens, she wants to know your life.
After 15 years of being a patient my wife was abruptly informed she is no longer a patient due to too many no shows. Further- when i called to discuss, i wasvtold when 1 family member is dropped, all are dropped, again no notification. I requested to speak to Dr. Poquiz and refused. Told i could not speak to him because i am not a patient any longer. Further informed this is Dr. Poquiz's policy, which is even worse. The girls who work at the front desk are VERY rude, and will not hesitate to get an attitude with patients. This happened to me on several occasions, not just once. I have never, ever left a negative review for anybody, but I feel obligated to inform potential new patients what they're getting when they visit/call this office. I will be finding another PCP, as this behavior is completely unacceptable and disrespectful. Beware.
The front office is unprofessional and rude. There is a lot of fighting among the staff, even in front of the patients. I was out of town and needed to speak with Nicole about my care and the front office refused to transfer the call and even argued with me. I have since transferred drs. and now the office staff is refusing to transfer my medical records to my new doctor. Now I know why they haven't taken down the Welcoming New Patients sign, the office is running them away.
