The customer service has gone down hill. They can never seem to get my policy correct. Ask for quotes and they don’t get back to you for days and at one time I waited over a month. Found out after awhile they didn’t even have one of my kids on the policy like they should have. Thank god she didn’t crash my car. An agent should look for the best rate for you each year... not Lapointe. Found a new agent and will transfer out at policies renew.

Without these signed exclusion forms, your children are covered to drive other vehicles. I cannot say anything that would be negative enough about LaPointe Insurance. I was a customer for 44 years. Last year I needed them in my corner for a catastrophic claim and they were awful. An agent needs to be in your corner when the chips are down. They will not be. The owner will not return calls or emails. Our claim file documents over 50 emails, calls and letters between our staff and you, the various adjusters assigned to the claim, the contractors, and the appraisers. Documentation also includes phone calls and letters between the agency owners and you on several occasions. From looking into a property that I am listing to find out if it will require flood insurance....to fine tuning an insurance quote for clients looking to purchase a new home and need more precise numbers. This company was very good when my previous insurance salesman was working... he retired 3 years ago. Still have this company but have never met another person. Am all done with a phone call tomorrow... I guess I'm just a number now .. not important..$$$ & I have done everything they've asked... terrible business actions on their part .. very disappointing

Thankfully, my only dealings have been to get and renew coverage on my car and apartment. No problems, ladies are very easy to sit down with. I don't look for different coverage elsewhere because I've paid hundreds more for less coverage on older cars. I'm a happy customer!
