Absolutely appalling behavior and extortion taking advantage of me financially due to a sick animal in time of need. This place stole money from me for doing absolutely nothing after offering assistance to my very sick dog .Zero communication skills, moron secretary , rude nurse, Dr was kind but disgusting display of greed vs care I do NOT recommend this place .
My Greyhound Dog came in with a dislocated toe. We went there because they were supposed to know how to give Greyhounds anesthesia. They put my dog in the car after anesthesia she could not even walk. They carried her out in a blanket. She stopped breathing. They took her back. After 4 hrs she had to be put to sleep They still charged me. I will Pickett that place on Wednesday. I will trash them every time I get I understand people make mistakes. I did not like the way they handled it.
When my dog was having a medical emergency, they would not accommodate or make time to help him. Any place in this profession should accommodate sick patients not turn them away when you need them the most.
Larkin’s staff is very friendly. I write this review reflective of quality of medical care. I brought my dog in suspicious of middle ear infection due to persistent right sided head tilt, balance issues and falling. I had started her on something OTC to help with her vertigo. The first vet we saw suspected middle ear infection but due to inflammation and discomfort he was not able to confirm and wanted to start external ear infection treatment with topical abx and oral steroid and continue vertigo medication. I was not happy... read more

Hi Rachael, we are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your pet’s visit. We aim to provide the highest quality of care to your furry friend and are saddened that you felt otherwise.
I'm completely disappointed and insulted. My dog had two issues with his ears; one was an inner ear infection and the other is a fluid build-up in the outer ear flap on his right ear. The infection was diagnosed and treated. Kudos to that, and thank you. An estimate for the operation needed for the repair of the ear flap has been promised for weeks. Never got it. Spoke several times to a receptionist, but no response from the vets. I'm patient, but I've had enough. I got the feeling that, because I live IN Reading ... read more

Just had to leave without getting our shot - the entrance way is so dog unfreindly, we couldn't get in without very close contact with other dogs, which is not a good thing. As a dog at reception barked at my dog, getting him agitated, the staff just sat there, I got hurt, and we had to leave...never a word from the staff - this was not a problem before the remodel, but now it's incredibly unsafe - the entrance is a claustrophobic tunnel, no longer an open area, where you could get away from other animals. I've been going he... read more

Cinda, thank you for your feedback. Our new waiting room was designed to try to prevent some of the problems we had with the old lobby and create a better, fear free environment. Occasionally back-ups can occur and we are sorry that you had this experience. Our office supervisor has been trying to reach you to ensure that you are okay. Could you please call our office and ask for our hospital manager so that we can make sure we prevent this problem in the future.
