I had never seen a psychologist before and was a little hesitant about it, but Dr. Ross made me feel very welcome, safe, and unjudged. He's been patient and understanding and has helped me with a variety of problems from ADHD to confidence issues that were really hindering my every day life. The appointments never feel rushed and he always makes sure to listen how you feel when it comes to treatment methods.
Dr. Ross was incredibly helpful for me. I can't say enough positive things about my experience. Even after moving to phone sessions due to the coronavairus he continued to help on my way. Dr. Ross is very caring and patient, I highly recommend him.
Dr. Ross has helped me gain control over my anxiety and ADHD. Getting to the root of my anxiety has been an integral part of managing ADHD. I have been seeing Dr. Ross for a little over a year. I was initially highly anxious about talking to someone; over the course of working with Dr. Ross I have experienced significant improvement and growth While it hasn't always been easy facing all my problems, it has definitely been worth the time, challenge and commitment.
Dr. Ross is a true professional in his field. His abilities as a therapist are excellent, the level of knowledge, communication and commitment built a solid foundation of trust that is essential for me in my therapy process. I would highly recommend Dr. Ross to those seeking a qualified, compassionate, and trustworthy therapist.
Dr. Ross has been instrumental in helping me to figure out who I am, and sort through the problems of my past. He is kind and patient, and has a level of expertise to which I could find no parallel in my search for a counselor in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area. Dr. Ross has been incredibly helpful in my understanding of why for the first time in my life I was dealing with depression. In our conversations he was able to expose root causes, give advice on what was going on and give me tools to deal with my issues.
