They constantly have you changing providers, they don't listen and if you need to reach them outside of buissness hours you can't even leave a voicemail so I guess they expect you to rely on their "patient portal". I left a message with 24 hours canceling my appointment in said portal and will be absolutely pissed if I get a bill because I wasn't able to contact them. My advice: raw dog life. Get a journal and do your own self help. The system is broken. I will not be returning here or any practices
Ive had 3 therapists through LifeStance, and they've all been great. But their billing department is the absolute worst. They couldn't get my copay right for almost half a year, and currently they're billing my wife for out of network care even though they're in network, and when we explained we were getting bills the billing agent told us to "just ignore [the bills]". This was after multiple calls and attempts to even reach their billing dept.
I’m filing every type of formal complaint available against Lifestance for negligently denying me care during a period of crisis, subsequently exacerbating my condition significantly. I’ve gotten legal counsel involved and will be filing suit. Please stay away from Lifestance as they do not care about their patients wellbeing whatsoever. Extremely discouraged from using this company. Providers constantly switching locations/ insurances make it impossible for patient/provider continuity. Phone staff do not seem to be knowledgeable of where current providers are currently at. I spent probably 45 minutes on the phone with someone trying to get a provider near me and they were zero help. You also can’t schedule appointments online and it’s been this way for about 2 years.
