Dr. Lipson's office is a great friendly place where everyone remembers who you are and what is important to you. They are clean, nice efficient, friendly and fast. However, notice that I did not say cheap. There are deffinatley people out there trying to rip away your money and Dr. Lipson's office isnt one of them but they are not the cheapest dentist on the market either. After nearly 21 years as a patient of this practice, I am writing to formally notify you that I will be transferring my dental care--and that of my entire family--to another provider. This decision is not a reflection of the dentist or the clinical care, which has always been satisfactory. This group preferred to send a bill to a Collection's Agency that was never rendered to me. They had all my information to send a bill, but I never heard from them.
Lipson Dental has terrible business practices when it comes to billing. On becoming new patients this summer we were assured our insurance was accepted. We've had several visits including routine cleanings, fillings, and a crown between my husband and have always made our payments at the end of each visit for the amount requested. My husband went in for a routine cleaning this morning and was met with an "over 90 day" hefty bill of leftover charges from all of this years previous work after our insurance claims were settled.... read more
