We went to Little Star Dentistry for my son's tongue and lip tie. Dr. Hannanvash is wonderful! She was patient, kind, and informative. I really appreciate how low-pressure she was and her willingness to give us all the time we needed to make a decision. The aftercare was also top-notch. They make their rooms super nursing friendly which has been very helpful for our always-hungry little boy. Little Star is a bit of a drive for us, but totally worth it.
My daughter had a tongue and lip tie revision done by Dr. H at 3 weeks old. Prior to the revision she was not nursing or gaining weight well and we were in a very tiring nurse, syringe feed, pump routine. After an assessment revealed that her tight upper lip frenulum caused her top lip to be unable to flange out and create a good suction while nursing and that the range of motion in her tongue was so limited she was unable to stimulate milk flow well we decided to have both sites revised via laser.
