First off, I think it should be said the way we were treated on 3/27/25 was horrendous, we have been coming here for a very long time for expanders and retainers and this appointment was for a tongue and lip tie release on my 6 year old son. I asked the doctor during the prior consultation and I also called 2x and asked the front desk to have the doctor send us a comprehensive possible side effects list for the Versed medication. Not the best experience! You have to write your credit card number down on a sheet of paper now "for their file" which felt super sketchy. However, the bigger issue was once we were in the back. I declined x-rays for my 4 year old and they refused to see him. They would not even do a cleaning/visual check. In my opinion they should **recommend** x rays but it should ultimately be up to the patient whether they are done, and shouldn't preclude you from a cleaning. Little Star Pediatric has a new policy that you MUST fill out a paper form with all your credit card information regardless of valid insurance. I don't trust most people with my credit card information security, much less leave it on paper at a dentist's office. Unfortunately, after many years taking my kids there, I will be taking the business elsewhere.

I would give Little Star Pediatric Dentistry zero stars if I could. The billing staff is unprofessional and irresponsible, and the owner is both greedy and lacks basic knowledge of insurance practices. If you have dual insurance, the owner will charge both your insurers and claim that you owe them dual copayments and dual deductibles. Absolutely unprofessional and laid back staff. Dint run the insurance information and told me to go ahead and see the doc and after the appointment they said sorry you are out of network and you will be charged anything below $300. Like seriously? I have a dental PPO and could have gone to any dentistry but bcoz i requested same day appointment they claimed it to be an emergency case. Its an absolute scam. Sweet office staff, quick check in and both kids were able to be seen at the same time which was really helpful, thank you! Kids also love the screens while they're getting their check up.

We've been taking our kids here for a decade and have never had a bad experience. The office is nice and clean, the office folks, hygienists, and the doctors. Tongue tie clip, cleanings, extractions, braces, we've had it all done. Highly recommend!

Dr. Chan and the team were amazing during my first visit! The office was clean, and everyone was so welcoming. They explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable. I'm glad to have found such a great dentist!
