Livery is a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful location. Ambiance is great, but the food wasn’t what I expected. All reviews I saw raved on the food, but if you ask me it was average. I had queso empanadas and they were ok, not sure if I would order them again. I had the skirt steak as a main course. The jalapeño butter was great, but the steak was underseasoned as was the polenta. The best thing I had were the churros! They were phenomenal, but everything else was a let down. Livery is ALWAYS good. Super consistent with great food and service, and a wonderful Mass Ave staple. We had the lamb empanadas, skirt steak, and red drum. I’ve never had a bad bite of food at Livery!

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We were observing a birthday, as well as celebrating our first dining experience since the beginning of COVID-19. The food was perfect and the service was excellent. Our dinner was a great way to venture out for the first time in a Kong time and we are happy to share that the Livery did not disappoint. We will be back in the near future!
