My experience at Livery was lovely. We valeted our car right outside. The service was great and we were seated immediately at 6:30 PM on a Saturday. Our waiter was kind and patient as we took time to figure out what we wanted, and knew the menu well enough to describe things to us. I wasn't too impressed with the sauce on the Sweet Plantain appetizer - my husband said it reminded him of throw up. But the plantains themselves were good. Livery sits in an historic building in the lively Mass Ave. area. The Spanish fare is very delicious and shareable, allowing a couple or small group to order a variety, much as you would tapas. You can enjoy several varieties of empanadas. Also, I highly recommend the paella. The atmosphere is great. Street parking is a problem and the available valet parking is pricey.
