Portions were SUPER small. We paid $17 for paella and got a tiny portion that was VERY salty. 1 scallop and 3 shrimp with maybe 1 cup of rice. Rice is cheap, add a little more rice to the dish and it would be more filling and “appear” like I’m getting my money’s worth. I would not recommend this place.
I ordered the lamb tamale at 5:00 PM and they were out of lamb. How can a restaurant be out of a main protein at the start of dinner service? The waitress was rushing us to finish our meal in order to free up the table even though no one was waiting for a table. Disappointing.
Food was far from “Latin” fusion. It’s as American as Apple pie. The put sauce everywhere, super spicy on everything. I don’t know what kind of food is this but it has nothing to do with Latin food.
Service was slow and our server never refilled our drinks or asked if we wanted another round from the bar. We ordered the skirt steak and the sauce is “burn your mouth off” hot and like I said we had nothing to drink. When we told her it was too hot she never offered to bring a new dish without the sauce she just “yeah it’s spicy”. Our appetizers came with the meal as well and we felt super rushed. This was perhaps the noisiest dinning experience I have every had. Worse than Chucky Cheese. Sorry to the staff because they work hard but the layout is not conducive to normal conversation. Certainly not a date night environment.
