Best BBQ around. Food was excellent and the staff was great.
We had only been to the one in Luling before and decided to give this one a shot since we were in the area. Ribs are awesomely good! Meat was very tender though the rub on it is a bit assertive than I'm used to. Normally I love BBQ burnt ends but I have a feeling if I ate ones from here they'd be too salty. Brisket was pretty good. The fattier parts were flavorful and moist but other pieces were too dry in my opinion. Good selection of sides and super tasty coleslaw and deviled eggs. Searched for BBQ restaurants on Yelp and this looked to be the best in Dallas. The ribs were pretty good and had good flavor. I would defiantly recommend stopping in and trying it out.
The brisket is amazing.. perfectly tender and moist! It's self serve so you order your food at the counter and everything is by priced by the pound. I'll definitely be missing the food at Lockhart when I head back home to KC!
