My experience with Dr. Romine went well. He performed shoulder surgery on my wife and a co-worker, everyone was pleased with their outcome.
He is very attentive and cares about what is going on with his patients.
Dr. Romine is truely outstanding in his profession. He is courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, and explains everything to where it’s understandable. I’m very thankful he performed my surgery and of his expertise. I’m very pleased with the complete staff at the Smithfield EmergeOrtho and how they took care of my health.
Definitely recommend him for surgery. He did a wonderful job and went over everything very well before hand.
In my opinion Dr Romine and his assistant Dr Hettinger are the best duo in North Carolina…i love their compassion for their patients

Dr Romine did my right hip replacement on November 1st. It was badly deteriorated and now I’m good as new. I can’t wait to get outside walking under clear skies. He is a great and caring surgeon.
