I already have been driving a TESLA but was curious of the LUCID models that I've seen on YouTube channel. So I gave them a call and arrived at the San Jose Fairfield mall location. I purchased a new 2026 Lucid Gravity for my wife in November 2025 and have had MULTIPLE electrical issues since. The vehicle on multiple occasions will not start unless the driver reboots the system, which takes 4-5 minutes each time. That's real convenient when taking kids to school. The screen will frequently just turn black so switching the radio station or adjusting the climate is impossible. I had a 10:00 a.m. appointment, but the store opened late. When I was not greeted, the associate Monique's seemed to have an attitude, as if helping customers was a favor rather than her responsibility. Her rudeness was noticeable and unprofessional. While I observed the manager asking customers the right questions, this associate showed no interest in the customers or the company's reputation. Showroom is beautiful but the sales folks are clueless and can't answer any questions. We actually wanted to buy a car but turned off by the completely incompetent staff. Every question we asked, they couldn't answer and when we asked questions - they seemed annoyed that we were bothering them from their phones. Beautiful car though. Train your staff better so they can answer questions for buyers.

My experience was the same as most of the other reviews. It seems to be consistently bad. The showroom is overcrowded and nobody is available to answer questions. I was considering buying a Lucid vehicle but I will instead stick with Tesla.

We just canceled our order. We loved the car and we want to purchase a Lucid Air Touring, however, there is no one to answer questions or to clarify details. There seems to be no communication at t Lucid and we receive inconsistent answers. We have tries multiple times with different people and we are so frustrated that we have decided that this is not the fun experience we should have when purchasing a car. It feels like no one at Lucid is really interested in selling us the car.

I placed a down payment for Lucid in November 2022 and was invited to order in March 2023. Each time I asked about the car's status, I was invited to order more options, "as this would help get it to the assembly line sooner. I was so disappointed to read a recent Wall Street Journal article that put the Lucid orders in perspective. The company has so far only delivered 1406 units so far this year. Horrible stage room only one car to go inside and take a look. A guy sat in there for 15 MINS no joke while the salesperson spoke to him inconsiderate of the line waiting. Keep the sales pitch short and the time inside short. Another sales guy told them to wrap it up and they didnt. Can't even consider the car when you can't even get to see inside it. From what we did see it was not impressive for the markup. I'll stick to Tesla.
