Nice successor to Brasserie Jo with some of the same items on the new menu. The tuna was delicious and the bartender knows how to make a great martini.
We choose Lucie for the good food and ambience. Service is attentive without being intrusive -- and we have time to talk. The fact that it's close to Symphony Hall, theatres, recital halls and other venues for music and entertainment is a big bonus.
Meatballs 9.5/10 Salmon - 9.5/10 Mac and Cheese - 10/10 Drinks - 8.5/10 Overall great experience! Will be back someday.
I miss Brasserie Jo, but this is a worthy replacement. Nice Brunch menu that offers beyond-dessert-type breakfast stuff options, and nice wine and cocktail program.
Excellent food, friendly service, quiet (we arrived at opening time of 5:00--I suspect the bar gets noisier later.) Will definitely come back.
The server was rather intermittent. The bar was worse. Took 30 minutes to get our first cocktail, which she blamed on the bar. And my martini was not as ordered and she fixed it. Bread only came after we asked for it an hour in (after she told us she'd bring it 1/2 hour earlier). I ordered the burger med rare it was med well, but tasty. The second round of drinks was much more on time. She never asked us if we wanted desert and just delivered the bill. She was pleasant enough but the whole experience was scattered.
The host, Rich, along with our server made sure we had a wonderful evening. The food was delicious as well.
The food was good, but the service is very slow. It took like 20 minutes to bring yogurt and granola.
Excellent Mediterranean salad, burger and fried chicken sandwich.
