RecommendedLast week, my daughter and I had to put our dog down. My husband was away on business and our sons are away in college and in the military. It was a brutal decision made over family FaceTime on the cold floor of an exam room with our sweet, suffering boy. Dr. Zalek (amazing) and every staff member made us feel like we were the only patients they had. They brought him chocolate cake and a chocolate cookie for his final treat, even.
