We brought over pictures from the house that [name removed] wanted. The maintenance man hang them up the next day. We needed their van to take [name removed] out to her house to pick up some clothing and stuff that didn't know about.
All is well. She is very happy and doing well. Great facility. Staff is great. Services are good ( except the recent challenge of housekeeper turnover) Food has been good ( except the fact of having to pay for 3 meals when typically there is 1 consumed) She has home health aid for baths and other needs twice a week. She loves her aide from [facility removed].
Lyndale was a mixed bag. There are some wonderful people who work there, but as most facilities seem to be these days, they were often understaffed, especially at night. Sometimes the food was pretty good, but often it was problematic. For instance, one day they had chicken salad, and the pieces of chicken were so big that anyone with any kind of dental problem would not be able to eat it. The staff is very friendly, they all know her name, they recognize family when they visit; they create multiple forums for open communication should any issues arise or if they are considering any changes or if updates are needed. Mom is not one who likes to ask for help, but they have created an environment where she feels comfortable asking for help if she needs it. And if she has ever had any issues or problems in her apartment they are very attentive and address her needs in a timely manner.
The staff is kind, courteous and helpful. The "main desk" person can tell me right away where my mom is and what she's doing. She rarely uses the kitchen, as the food served at mealtime is delicious and generously portioned. The food is the best in town! The apartments are pleasant, many with balconies or a door to outside to allow a nice breeze if desired. She has a good sized living room, bedroom and dining area with a nice kitchen, refrigerator and microwave.
We are still getting them acclimated and have had some new medical issues so still hoping it gets better. They are understaffed and their new resident procedures leave a lot to be desired. Sometimes takes 2-3 hours for them to respond to the push of button to get help.

The staff is attentive, helpful, respectful, and friendly. The move in process was handled well. Excellent communication. We would recommend this facility to others.
The staff was very caring. The facility is older and My dad uses an electric wheelchair chair full time and his room was not big enough for him to easily navigate. My dad is old school on food and he felt like there were some problems with the food and food service. The residents seemed older and less active. Dad would have liked to have more activities like music programs, dominoes,cards, and Maybe a bible study group.

Everyone there from front desk, dining, housekeeping and management has been so caring, kind and supportive! He loves his 10:30am workout class and literally goes every day Mon. - Fri.! I can already see improvement with his walking! He is very happy with his apartment and community! I know in my heart that it will add years to life and mine! Love it there it's AMAZING!!!
