Oh my goodness! Amazing doesn’t even come close to how much we enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere of this little gem! We had a basic pepperoni lunch slice with soup. It was so delicious! Crust was the best I’ve ever had … perfectly crisp and full of flavor as was the entirety of the slice. I have never had a pizza with the ability to really taste the crust. Amazing experience! Love the Maciano’s Olive Cocktail!! It’s made with an olive oil and water base, and is infused with salt, pepper, tomato pureé, pizza flavoring, marinara sauce, and pasta. the employees are very friendly and loyal. loved the overall experience, me and my book club friends loved the food!! Always fresh, delicious, excellent Chicago style pizza. I got 2 large deep dishes, separated and froze the individual slices, and flew them home to enjoy!! Reheats wonderfully. Also, I found a 20% off coupon online, which they cheerfully honored!
We just stopped in because we were ready for lunch. I looked up places near me. I liked the idea of Italian so we went for it. This was a really good decision. When we saw the menu, the first thing we locked eyes on was the calzone. It started out filled with several cheeses 🧀 but then we could request additional fillings. My family has been going to Maciano's for the last several years and, while there have been a few hiccups in management since we first started going there, the last couple of years have been filled with extremely good service, and really tasty food. We haven't been able to eat in as much as we used to, but we regularly get the same order every Wednesday and being it home to eat while we watch TV.
