I have a lot of long, very curly hair which most stylists are intimidated by. The color specialist at Madison reed was so nice, did a great job coloring and blow drying my hair quickly. Will go back.

Rosalie is a genius!! She has been doing my hair forever, and she NEVER disappoints! I like this salon.. it's always clean and they play great music! The other stylists are nice, and chatty. They have made me a Madison Reed fan!!

I love Madison Reed! I love their products. However, certain employees at the Williamsburgh location could be better. I've experienced a lack of professionalism (i.e., overheard gossiping about clients in the back, my hair dye was on for over 45 minutes because the stylist was on "her break," and I lost my hairpin and instead of offering something, another stylist yelled at me that I couldn't take their hairpin.) Great for roots wouldn't recommend for highlights staff is friendly but a little rough when washing so if your tender headed beware. However the color is beautiful for full head and roots and it doesn't damage the hair. I sprung for the dry and style they did a great job. I just wouldn't recommend the highlights came out very uneven for dark hair.

I wanted to check out this new location on a hip street in Williamsburg. Got my roots done and toned my brunette balayage. They did a great job as always. This location is a little more intimate than others with a chill ambience. The people at Madison Reed are super nice and responsive to whatever I need. You can go to any location because they have all your information on file about your colors and your hair history. And the color really lasts.

I had a wonderful experience at Madison Reed. My colorist spent lots of time discussing my desires and options. My color is perfect and it is exactly what I wanted. I have used Madison Reed at home previously so I was not surprised at how soft my hair was after. Highly recommend!

I have never been more upset in my life. I received the worst highlights I've ever had. I had to take the next day off work to go back for a correction, and there is virtually no difference. My hair is uneven, with visible bleed marks throughout. My scalp was burned. Now I have to find a color specialist to undergo a full color correction. This is a nightmare.
