This is my first review for Madison reed located in logan circle. I was so excited to see them open near me, I've been using their products for awhile and I love them, but I got disappointed when I found out they're not open yet. But I still want to give a four star review. The young lady Israel works there and explained to me the issue, the small encounter with the other staff they were very kind. So i'm gonna be patient, but I can't wait to become a regular. Hurry and Open

Disappointed from my visit. I booked a gloss, called to change it to a toning glaze (which they couldn't do in the system so they put it in the notes). I made very clear that I wanted a toning glaze NOT a permanent all over color. I somehow ended up with an all over color. This is not what I asked for and I clarified that at least three times. Inconsistent color results, not good for highlights, long wait times. 3 hours for a partial foil, color was darker than i wanted and I'm very disappointed.

Worst experience, I went for full hair color. I informed my stylist Lynda I am looking for brown color, and she affirmed that. After the process was completed and my dried it was black. I confronted her and she hardly showed any remorse on her face. This was literally not expected from Madison reed, highly disappointed with the experience. Ohh well the money went to waste by the way. Do not recommend anyone especially Lynda. I have kept trying to reach someone here but no one cares. Don't deserve a single star.

My recent experience was not great. Inspiration pic was given and previous results and nearly 5 hours later I left with extremely disappointing results. Saddened.

Loved my colorist and loved the color. I will return. HOWEVER: (i) the lack of hair cutting as a service is a real bummer and it honestly gave me pause to even book the color - it would be amazing if hair cuts could be added to the color bar; and (ii) the upcharge for a blowout when one is spending market price ($270 with tip) for balayage is shocking - all other salons do blowout complimentary when you are spending on color. If the color was below market price, I could see it, but this was is not a bargain coloring.

Do not go there for highlights!!! My hair looks like a reality television star on a desert island after several days clip ins !!! My highlights are huge, uneven to the other side, and over an inch from my roots. I don't think I need to say more. I would share a photo, but I am embarrassed.

This was my first time going to Madison Reed. The salon space was stunning and staff all seemed to be quite nice. Unfortunately, my highlights came out much darker and browner than the rest of my blonde hair. I've been getting my hair highlighted for 10 years and have never had them come out like this so I am unsure what happened.
