usually i have a good experience but today was terrible experience. they kept me waiting for over 30 mins, then come over and accuse me of sending them some text about canceling. they mix the color and leave it lying around for 20+ mins and dont bother mixing a new batch until I ask them to do it. They leave me waiting for over 45 mins before I walk over and ask them if it's time to wash. They send me over to the wash area and keep me waiting another 10 mins before washing my hair. What a waste of time. This was my first time here as I had seen ads for Madison Reed in years past and had seen this storefront while dining out in Summit. I walked in and the moment I sat down the technician was already dismissive saying "I needed to dry my hair." If my hair needed to be dried, then by all means share that information in your confirmation email prior to my visit. No "Welcome to Madison Reed" or "Have you been here before?" or "How can I help you? Let me tell you a little about our products and services." ... read more

Stopped in today and was greeted by someone (long blonde hair/dark roots) who asked if I was there for an appointment. Said I wasn't but was there for some products. I was told I'll be right with you and she checked out someone else. No problem but then someone who wasn't even waiting before me came up and the same lbh/dr said to me... she's been here a long time and needs to get home... turned her back on me and rudely said thank you for your patience. I walked in - nobody greeted me. Had to wait for over 5 mins for someone to finally notice me. The assistant was sweet and polite. The colorist was the RUDEST woman ever! She walked in while the assistant was combing my hair. She didn't say hello - grabbed and parted my hair roughly and took a photo with her iPad. The manager is a fabulous colorist. The younger techs are sloppy, unprofessional, clumsy & careless. I've been a regular customer. But after this last coloring, the tech who prepared me for my service and then rinsed permanently damaged my sweater in the process. My new sweater. Received the day before. On its first wear.
