Disappointing Experience Edited in response to the company's reply: The $10 refund cheque has not been received as of April 1st, 2023 after numerous emails to the company. The company's customer service appears to have an alternate view of facts. We did not speak on the day of service and the response by email was not received in writing until several weeks later. Careless and Superficial Cleaning Job I heard great things about MaidPro Thornhill through the Nextdoor community. I was looking for a cleaning service to help clean only a number of rooms for my elderly parents' home. MaidPro's first cleaning job was careless and superficial. They sent two members to clean for three hours. They completed a large kitchen, two living rooms, a washroom, and powder room. Home cleaning by MaidPro Thanks for nothing Jonathan! What a disaster!! The person he sent to clean the home barely did anything...Keep in mind we asked specifically for an intense cleaning before we moved in including cleaning the stairs to the basement and behind appliances. Thorough house cleaning I specifically told the owner that I was looking for a team that would clean my house from top to bottom before I moved in with all my belongings. I had some minor work done in the house and wanted to be sure that everything was spotless and dust free. Unfortunately, there were many areas overlooked and I emailed the company pictures with my complaints. House cleaning Surprisingly disappointing, particularly given the other Homestar ratings on the basis of which we had opted for MaidPro. 1. When Jonathan confirmed the cost by email, it was higher than what he had quoted when I was at the Thornhill location. I contacted him regarding this, he apologised, and provided a revised quotation. move in move out I chose Maidpro due to the great reviews here, but my experience was quite different. i had a move in move out cleaning. The floors I had to wipe down again as it was still stained and sticky. The rags I used were grey after wiping it down myself. Countertop and backsplash still had obvious stains that were removable, which I again had to clean myself. I won't use this service again, I would have done a much better job myself.
