Marion Skoro, the founder, had immigrated here from Croatia and ran the business with his wife, Mirela. One day, a man came in and dropped a chair off to be reupholstered. We visited the store before the holidays. Steve, our sales associate did a great job explaining the differences in carpets, quality and installation options. We picked a wonderful wool berber for our basement and a blend for an upper floor. I never knew how a pad could make the difference. Our experience is very similar to that by another reviewer (Anthony Quaranta, 11/20). I think that says a lot about David (Marion's) and Jeremy (Cravatta Flooring) as well the veracity of these reviews. We purchased 3 carpets from Marion's and each time David helped us. I just moved to the area and closed on a place that needed the carpets redone before I moved in. I had a lot uncertainty around the actual installation date as I was trying to coordinate a tight deadline with the closing, installation work, and movers arriving. David was our sales contact and very knowledgeable about the products at Marion's. Jeremy Installed our carpet and did a fantastic job. He took the time to install the carpet correctly. He spent extra time to removed and replace thresholds to make it look and feel right. I have had a couple of installers work for me installing carpet in my rental properties. Jeremy is my go to installer now.
James installed our carpet and he was absolutely fabulous!!!..he took a difficult situation and made it work beautifully.... we love the carpet we purchased from Marions, and Angie helped us with it all the way!
After we checked out carpet at Marion's, got some prices, then checked a couple other places in town, we ended up going back to Marion's. Our sales person, (Angie) was very helpful, extremely knowledgeable about the carpets, and flooring. We had a hard time keeping up with her! Lol ;o) Thanks Angie!
I always had my eye on Marions Carpet and finally had a chance to purchase carpet. David is very knowledgeable, professional and was a tremendous help. The carpet looks spectacular in my condo. I love my carpet. Ask for David when you go to the Wilsonville Marions Carpet.
James Chinchen was so incredibly skilled and committed in every step of the installation. Angie is the most knowledgeable and helpful salesperson who really knows her business. She is so informative and helped me find the carpet I was looking for. And James! The most amazing installer not challenged by a difficult product and convoluted 3rd floor townhouse. His experience and talents are unbelievable. Also clean polite, friendly and efficient.
